Our Leadership
Lucas W. Hankins, CPA
Lucas leads Hankins CPA & Company with over two decades of experience in tax consulting and compliance roles. He started his career in the federal tax practice of a Big Four Firm and later focused on state and local taxes. Just prior to founding the firm, he spent four years in a Washington National Tax Practice working with its mergers and acquisitions team. His dedication to personalized client service and technical excellence defines the firm’s commitment to providing Big Four level quality with a local, boutique approach.

A native Tennessean and UT Alum, Lucas can be found, in his spare time, on the trails in the Smokies, cheering on the Vols on Saturdays, and playing golf at Fox Den with his wife and two sons.Â
